The Three Basic Hand-building Techniques

This VHS tape is comprised of three sections. Section 1 is devoted to "pinch pots", one of the most ancient methods of pot-making. Martha offers 9 ideas for decorating these pots or using the pinch method to build other useful objects. Section 2 demonstrates five examples of coil pots--a method ideal for beginners. Section 3 demonstrates "slab" construction and shows how to make clay bowls and trays use everyday items to attractively decorate them.
